October 2015 for Drupal and Joomla developers was marked by the release of regular updates of their CMS. We decided to make a small review of these releases. In the world of CMS, there are several global developments, among which, undoubtedly, Joomla and Drupal. The creators of these systems regularly release updates with new features and bug fixes. In the new Joomla 3.4.5 and Drupal 7.41, the previously found inaccuracies and bugs were fixed, which made the work of these CMS more stable and reliable. There are many additions and the perfect combination of functions for creating thematic Internet projects. Usually, content sites, author blogs and entire company portals are built on its basis. However, for other areas of site creation it is not as good as Drupal, because third-party components and plug-ins are required to extend the functionality of the site with Joomla. Drupal CMS, in our opinion, is a universal content management system that allows you to create both high-quality thematic projects and full-fledged online stores, and even social networks. Many site developers have noted the visual side of the Joomla 3.4 administration panel, which looks more attractive than the Drupal admin panel. But in the matters of ease of creating sites and as the engine itself, professionals increasingly prefer Drupal 7.4.
